→ Technical Sales Manager Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a strong understanding of the technical aspects of our products or services, and a deep knowledge of the industry. This role combines strategic sales management with technical expertise, ensuring our clients receive optimal solutions while driving revenue growth and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Drive the growth of new business opportunities in both existing and new markets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Lead and participate in high-level client meetings and presentations.
  • Provide technical consultations and tailored solutions based on client needs.
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key clients, fostering loyalty and retention.

Team Development & Collaboration:

  • Manage and coach the sales team to enhance technical sales capabilities.
  • Develop training programs to improve the team’s product knowledge and technical selling skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to ensure alignment between customer needs, product offerings, and market positioning.
  • Support the team during product demonstrations, technical presentations, and complex sales negotiations.

Sales Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track and analyze sales performance, including pipeline, forecasts, and close rates.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales achievements, forecasts, and technical challenges.
  • Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to optimize sales processes and improve decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or technical) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical sales within manufacturing, engineering, etc..
  • Proven success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue growth in a technical environment.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex products/services.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, building relationships with senior decision- makers.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional technical acumen, with the ability to present complex solutions to non- technical clients.

→ Project Manager

Position Description:

This position is for a Project Manager that will be responsible for system drawings, 3D modeling, fabrication drawings, and managing projects from planning to commissioning. This person will need to have a mechanical aptitude and be familiar with software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe, Excel, and Word. There will be traveling involved for onsite planning, installations, and commissioning of systems in which customer service is of importance. You will be working with sales staff as well as production staff. Timing, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects at once is needed. Project management experience within the construction industry would also be a plus.

Tasks lnclude (but not limited to):

  • Holding weekly production meeting and kick off and closing meetings as needed.
  • System layout models/drawings
  • Utilities drawings
  • Create project submittal documentation
  • Operations and maintenance manual creation
  • Designing parts for fabrication (in-house or outsourced)
  • Communicating with customer on system submittals
  • Coordinating installation crews
  • Assisting procurement when ordering equipmen materials
  • Training end users and commissioning systems
  • In special cases, dealing with our company insurance broker and filling out government forms

Minimum Skills

→ Technical Sales Representative Position

In addition, Dustcontrol offers services, accessories and spare parts. With mobile dust collectors and stationary central collection systems, Dustcontrol helps companies such as Astra Zeneca, Sandvik, Boeing and Lockheed Martin along with others all over the world, to provide a more efficient production with better production quality. We create a cleaner working environment by removing dust and other contaminants at the source, through source extraction, as well as spot extraction and general cleaning.

Position Responsibilities

This position involves working with existing customers while also developing new accounts and markets. Moderate travel will be necessary to visit customer sites within a designated sales territory. It will be necessary to measure and dimension specific areas to adequately design systems for the customers.

Since every project is unique, and the products can be used in many different ways, you need to be comfortable creating and designing effective solutions while also having the ability to make complex projects attractive yet easy for the customer to understand and operate.

In this role, you will work independently with the customer, which means that you are responsible for the entire sales process, from prospecting, quotation, sales, training and follow-ups. You will have Dustcontrol’s internal infrastructure and functions such as customer support, technical support and a centralized service organization to help you. You will receive a solid introduction and product training.

You are the contract manager for your customers. We always strive for good relationships, and it is important that we are top-of-mind with them when their next need arises. We are looking for a technical salesperson who communicates easily with all types of customers and maintains good positive relationships.

The tasks are widely varied and mainly consist of working with customers to get a clear understanding of their needs through customer visits and meetings. You will be responsible for attending trade shows and following up on leads.

Experience and Skills Needed

  • Self-motivated with strong social skills that you actively use to build relationships and networks in multiple industries.
  • Businesslike, professional, driven and self-motivated with good administrative skills.
  • Used to working independently as well as in groups.
  • Technical experience and understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably from some part of the industry and possibly have industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, and Food manufacturing a plus.
  • Experience in laying out and designing piping, HVAC ductwork and calculating pressure drops in systems also a plus.
  • Experience in project sales is an advantage.
  • Documented good sales performance.
  • Ability to familiarize yourself with laws and regulations that would influence and affect the customer’s need for solutions.
  • Good at presenting business proposals to customers based on your own interpretations of the customer’s needs and derived drawings and realistic project budgets.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, which lays the foundation for efficient work.
  • A sense of business development and are not afraid to develop new applications, solutions or ways of working that would drive sales forward.
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
  • Ability to manage and maintain a multi-state territory

Education

Upper secondary education is a requirement. Relevant College degree a plus. Experience is the most important thing.
